Pioneering Sustainable Defence Solutions

[20-22 June 2024, Braga] We were privileged to participate in the AuxDefense Conference, a leading event focused on advanced materials for defence applications. Held from June 20-22, 2024, in Braga, Portugal, this conference brought together key stakeholders, including researchers, end-users, and military personnel, to discuss the latest advancements in defence technologies.

Represented by our esteemed partners, CITEVE and AITEX, we contributed to driving innovation forward by showcasing our expertise in textile and recyclable materials. Our representative, Gilda Santos, delivered an insightful presentation on our innovative contributions to eco-designed ballistic systems. José Gisbert Gomis joined the event, further supporting our presence.

At ECOBALLIFE, a project funded by the European Defence Fund and supported by the European Defence Agency, we are dedicated to developing durable, lightweight protection solutions against current and emerging threats. Our project aims to enhance European defence capabilities by creating new materials and technologies that ensure high levels of protection while maintaining environmental sustainability.
