INOVARMY: A Key Platform for Showcasing Advanced Protective Textiles

ECOBALLIFE showcased its sustainable advances at the INOVARMY Summit & Expo 2025 in Oeiras, Portugal, on 19–20 November 2025. The event united industry, research centres, and academia to accelerate innovation across the defence sector.

CITEVE presented an enhanced ballistic vest prototype and displayed recycled aramid-based materials such as fibres, yarns, and non-woven structures. These materials highlight how ECOBALLIFE delivers high‑performance protection while supporting circular economy principles.

Throughout the two‑day event, the team engaged with military representatives, industry leaders, and researchers. Moreover, they shared project results and reinforced ECOBALLIFE’s contribution to next‑generation protective gear.

Overall, the project strengthened its visibility within the defence innovation ecosystem and demonstrated concrete progress toward sustainable textile solutions.
