They also develop functional printing methods to evaluate system ageing, supporting long-term durability and reliability in defence applications.

TECNALIA ensures smooth project execution through active coordination and communication across all partners. They’re in charge of Environmental Assessment & Recyclability, evaluating environmental impact and recyclability to embed sustainability throughout ECOBALLIFE’s lifecycle. This leadership reinforces the project’s commitment to circularity and responsible innovation in defence technologies.

TECNALIA Contributes Across Key Work Packages

TECNALIA also sets up the Military Protection Research Ecosystem (MPRE), engaging stakeholders to foster innovation and real-world relevance. In personal and platform protection work packages, they optimize personal and platform protection systems using advanced materials and improved processing techniques. Their work in Proof of Concept studies is essential to ensure that research outcomes are translated into practical, deployable protective solutions.
